Francesca Santangelo

She is an artist who performs, a performer who plays percussion and a percussionist who is a musician.

She developed her art on the basis of a wide and stable foundation of knowledge. Her performing comes out of a deep and grounded motivation. Her percussion skills are precise and the result of discipline and three university degrees.

Wherever she is performing: Her music is a celebration of art.

She is percussionist in 4th generation. She performed in over 20 countries at int. Festivals, doing solo-concerts, ensemble-music and performing in orchestras. She worked with many great artists in person and stood together with them on stage like J. Beck, A. Astrand, C. Cangelosi, N. Rosauro, M. Ford, M. Kamiya, R. Wiener, M. Burritt, J. Wooton and many others.

She believes in the importance of the idea of sharing. Since over 10 years she is sharing her multipercussion skills. She is invited to festivals and universities to do classes. She teaches and prepares people for auditions and competitions. She is showing, teaching and passing her arts and crafts to people, who want to study her idea of the beauty of rhythm and sound.

Francesca Santangelo cooperates with Bergerault since 2008.
